| Shannon was our first ridgeback. We
didn't know a thing about showing and Roz Schneider, a member of a local
dog club took on the job of showing her. Below are shown some of
Shannon's accomplishments.
Along with many BOB placements in her career, Shannon was a multiple group winner. She won the highly coveted RRCUS Bronze Medallion 5 times (4 medals shown). Won the Veteran's Bitch Class at the 1991 RR Specialty held in Chicago along with 3rd in the Brood Bitch Class at that same show with her son's Fan and Bucky. She was also awarded the Science Diet Senior Award. Considering her age of nearly 8, she showed like a trooper in the 100 degree heat and high humidity. Shannon was more than a great champion, she was our baby-girl and after a show, she knew exactly where she wanted to be - on the couch.
